NBC Sports will provide extensive coverage of the 149th Preakness Stakes Saturday from Baltimore’s Pimlico Race Course. The broadcast begins on CNBC with the Preakness undercard from 1:30-4:30 p.m. ET before shifting to NBC from 4:30-7:30 p.m. ET. Post time for the 1 3/16-mile Preakness, the middle jewel of the Triple Crown, is set for 7:01 p.m. ET.

The silent auction to benefit Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance is now open for bidding. The auction coincides with the America’s Best Racing Pre-Preakness Party, during which items will be displayed in person. The party will take place Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at the Mt. Washington Tavern in Baltimore, Md.

The auction is accessible both in person at the event and remotely for online bidders. Auction items include a diverse range of racing memorabilia, fine art, collectables, and more.

Baltimore will be the center of the racing world this Saturday, May 18, when Pimlico plays host to the second jewel of the Triple Crown, the $2 million Preakness Stakes. Here’s what you need to know before you go.
